New daddy Jack Black

Jack Black and his wife welcomed a son on Saturday. "I'm going to be the best daddy on the planet and I'm going to enter the best daddy competition. And I'm going to win it," Black told US Weekly. And to Access Hollywood, the Nacho Libre actor said, "I've got the babe back home safe and sound and I'm actually very anxious to get back to them." The baby's name has not been reported.

Heather Mills to sue over shocking sex allegations

Heather Mills plans to sue the British tabloid News of the World once her divorce from Paul McCartney has been finalized. The tabloid published an article over the weekend alleging Mills worked as a high-class prostitute in the early 1990s - this only a week after another British paper, the Sun, published photos of the Beatle's estranged wife engaging in explicit acts. Mills insists the photos, available for sale from a German website selling sexual material, are meant to be an instructional "lover's guide." A statement from her lawyers in reaction to the recent article said, "The timing of the article is clearly designed to cause maximum hurt to Heather, her husband and family at this sensitive time. Heather is very distressed by this article. She continues to recover slowly from her revision amputation operation and has suffered weight loss, anxiety and sleeping problems as a result of the stress and anxiety of the break-up of her marriage. The coverage of this in certain newspapers has caused further distress and illness to her." The News of the World has announced that they have sworn affidavits from a private secretary claiming to have paid Mills for "pleasuring his billionaire master" and statements from former prostitutes who allegedly worked with her. The News reportedly broke the scandal four years ago but were forced not to publish until now under the threat of legal action from Paul McCartney's lawyers.

Jennifer's bad boyfriend influence

Jennifer Aniston is desperate to quit smoking but says Vince Vaughn is a bad influence on her. "Jen's been in trouble with her doctor because she went to him for help in giving up and hasn't," a source told a British paper. "Every time she tried, there would be Vince puffing away. He's not helping in the least and when she tells him off about it, he just laughs." (Picture from Perez Hilton, hence the writing over the image.)

Kate Moss worried after car raid

Kate Moss fears her daughter could become a kidnapping target after her car was raided in a frightening incident near her North London home. The incident took place when Moss's nanny was taking her daughter Lila to ballet practice. After stopping the car on a quiet road to take Lila to the bathroom, burglars broke into the vehicle and made off with the nanny's bag as well as a substantial amount of money. "Kate is very, very anxious about the situation," a source told a British newspaper. "Kate knows Lila could have been in the car when the thieves struck. And they could have easily taken the car with Lila in it. Kate has realized she is heavily followed, people know where she lives and she knows she needs to up her security. She's become very paranoid and wants to step up her security arrangements immediately."

Director on Depp's film calls it quits

Johnny Depp has had creative differences with the director on the set of his new film, Shantaram, and director Peter Weir has left the project. "Peter moved on from this film because his interpretation of it differed greatly than that of the studio and producers," said a Warner Brothers source. The story follows the life of an Australian heroin addict as he escapes from prison to impersonate a doctor in the slums of India, only to end up as a gun runner fighting Russian troops in Afghanistan.

Britney scares off her famous neighbors

Mel Gibson is selling his Malibu mansion reportedly because he is tired of the commotion caused by his next-door neighbor, Britney Spears. "People are always hanging around outside the gates and he is worried his kids might get hurt," a source told an Australian paper. Gibson is taking his wife and seven children to a new home in Santa Monica, which is closer to the Catholic church he just built.
