Sienna receives death threats

As feared, Sienna Miller and Steve Buscemi have been receiving death threats from Islamic extremists for their roles in the remake of a Theo Van Gogh 2003 thriller. Van Gogh was murdered in 2004 after his film Submission caused outrage in the Islamic fundamentalist community. Miller has been sent letters saying "she will be sorry" if she doesn't pull out of the role. A film crew member told a British paper, "Sienna refuses to give in to these threats. The film hasn't got anything to do with Islam. But because it's being made as a tribute to Theo, the Islamic fundamentalists have hit the roof."
