Hilary Duff has become the target of criticism by animal rights groups for scheduling tour dates and rodeos and bullfight arenas. The group Showing Animals Respect and Kindness (SHARK) has sent the pop star tapes showing animal cruelty in bullfights and rodeos in a show of protest. Duff was formerly praised by animal activists for her line of cruelty-free cosmetics. Duff's lawyer says, "After all her high-profile and generous work on behalf of animals, Ms. Duff is being aggressively and unfairly singled out by a small fringe group that touts itself as an animal rights group."
